WATCH: The 2018 DC VegFest goes VIRTUAL!

This year, Compassion Over Killing hosted its first-ever DC Virtual VegFest, featuring celebrity speakers, fun cooking demos, exciting giveaways and more!

Watch below & share with friends:

We were heartbroken that the 2018 DC VegFest needed to be cancelled, but taking the celebration virtually, we brought the DC VegFest to thousands of people on Facebook!

Exciting speakers including Carol Adams and Ginny Messina, RD (Protest Kitchen), Dr. Neal Barnard (President, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine), and Mike Wolf (COK’s Director of Investigations) joined us for the live broadcast, as well as some of our DC VegFest sponsors like Busboys and Poets and Karner Blue Capital.

Live cooking demos by Danni McGhee (DAM Good Vegan), Elysabeth Alfano (Awesome Vegans), and COK Vegan Food & Lifestyle Coach Jessica Carter whipped up fun and lots of comments from our live audience. Demos featured food courtesy of The Jackfruit Co., Follow Your Heart, and Sunshine Burgers.

Teegan the vegan “cow” danced to her a-moo-sing song about plant-based milks, and Eric Lindstrom (COK’s Director of Marketing) and kids drew adorable animals in Cartooning 101.

To keep the DC VegFest fun going, share our virtual celebration with your friends.

Please show some love and support for all of the vendors and exhibitors who planned to join us at the DC VegFest this year! Visit DCVegFest.com/exhibitors for links to shop.

Thank you to all who joined us for DC Virtual VegFest, and we’ll see you in DC when DC VegFest returns in 2019!
