What’s a Kid To Do? We’ve Got Plenty of Veggie Fun to Go Around!

Music, yoga, games, cruelty-free cupcakes, repeat.

Sound like your dream day? Ours, too! That’s why we’re expanding our popular Kid’s Area at the 2014 DC VegFest: to make dreams come true!

Whether you want to sing, dance, bend, or cook – we’ve got something for YOU! Face painting? We got that. Fingers puppets? Of course! Tattoos? If you’re talking about the temporary kind, then thumbs up! Plus games galore and lots lots more.

Starting at 11am, join us throughout the day in the Kid’s Area for a little something we like to call F-U-N.

Are you maybe not in what one might call your “younger” years, but still think this all sounds AWESOME?

GOOD! We want you, too, family, friends, parents, grandparents, volunteer2parents-to-be! Whether you want to Ask A Vegan Mom about raising a veg-friendly family or simply join in on the arts, crafts, and cooking, we want to see you shine!

With amazing guests like Cupcake Wars-winner Doron Petersan of local bakery Sticky Fingers Sweets and Eats, Lesley Parker-Rollins of Ask A Vegan Mom, and more, you can’t beat hangin’ with the kids.

Events last from 11am – 4pm, so you can spend all day with us and still have time to check out the rest of our amazing veg-friendly festival, our socially responsible vendors, and cruelty-free exhibitors. Now that’s pretty dreamy.

Check out a full Kid’s Area line-up here, and we’ll see you soon!
